Roinin is an Irish-Italian producer, mixer, and artist shaped by distance, displacement, and sound. Born in Belfast, Ireland, he spent his early childhood moving between countries, living in Ireland until the age of seven before briefly relocating to Rome, Italy. Constant motion defined his upbringing, but music became the one fixed point—a language that remained familiar no matter where he was.

Raised in a home filled with instruments, Roinin was encouraged to explore sound before he understood it. His father, who once played in a band in Italy, kept music alive in the house, and records by Led Zeppelin, Prince, and Queen formed the backbone of his earliest listening. Outside the home, Irish radio introduced him to artists like Mika and Gorillaz, expanding his sense of melody and color. Later, after moving to California, he discovered R&B, hip-hop, and modern pop, sounds that reshaped his relationship to rhythm and storytelling. Mac Miller emerged as a defining influence—not just musically, but in the way vulnerability and experimentation could coexist.

Classical structure met instinct early on. Roinin played saxophone throughout his childhood in the United States until the age of thirteen, while simultaneously learning the language of digital production.
